Compare Results
property page
This property page shows the differences between two models after a compare operation.
The associated window title indicates whether a lexical or semantic comparison has been performed.
Overview
This is a screenshot of a compare results property page. Its major features are listed on the right.
Details of the two models being compared are shown here.
You can easily use the Navigate (
) buttons to jump to either of them.
This list shows the differences found during model comparison.
Each difference may have associated model parts.
Plase note that results are reported differently depending on whether a lexical or semantic compare was carried out.
For lexical comparisons, a description is provided for each difference, together with references to the associated model parts.
For semantic comparisons, a difference kind such as CreateClass or DeleteAssociation is provided for each difference, together with references to the associated model parts.
When you select a result, its details are shown on the result details pane.
The result details pane is where the system shows detailed information about the selected comparison result.
You can use the Navigate () buttons to jump to the associated model parts.
